Overview

BD Minority Lawyers Forum is a professional network focused on minority and human-rights issues. The platform replaces fragmented social channels with a more credible, structured digital environment for members, the public and organisational activity.

Problem

The organisation needed to serve several audiences at once: people seeking legal support, lawyers looking to connect, and visitors following advocacy work, resources and events. Those needs were difficult to manage through disconnected social media groups.

My contribution

• Led requirements mapping and end-to-end full-stack development.
• Built the confidential legal-assistance request workflow and professional member directory.
• Developed dynamic publishing areas for advocacy updates, resources and events.
• Implemented the responsive professional interface and production launch.

Technical approach

Organised the application around distinct public-support, professional-networking and publishing journeys. Laravel/PHP/MySQL provide one dynamic backend for assistance requests, member information, resources, events and organisational content.
