Quick Job is a community-first task marketplace I'm building for South Asian diaspora neighbourhoods. Need a flat cleared before a landlord visit, help moving a sofa, someone for eid catering prep — post it, see nearby seekers who are actually available, chat, agree a price, get it done.
It's not another generic TaskRabbit clone. Trust, language, and community context sit at the centre — because that's how work already moves informally in these networks. I'm formalising it into a product with verification, reviews, and real-time availability.
South Asian communities already hire through WhatsApp forwards and cousin-of-a-cousin recommendations. That works until it doesn't — no paper trail, no ratings, no fair pricing, and seekers miss paid work because they weren't in the right chat.
