Outcome

Shipped a live table-booking product that lets guests request reservations without an account and lets restaurants manage confirmations without platform commission fees.

Overview

SetsFood is an in-house hospitality SaaS focused on small independent restaurants. It removes unnecessary customer- account friction while giving operators simple controls for opening hours, booking capacity, confirmations, cancellations and reporting.

Problem

Independent restaurants often rely on phone calls, paper diaries and WhatsApp messages, while many booking platforms introduce per-cover or commission costs. Operators need a simpler system that they can control directly.

My contribution

• Led product definition, architecture and hands-on Laravel/Livewire development.
• Built public restaurant booking URLs and no-account guest reservation flows.
• Developed pending-to-confirmed operations, opening-hour/capacity controls and self-cancellation.
• Built the restaurant management panel, reporting and export workflows.

Technical approach

Designed the product around a deliberately short guest flow and an operationally simple restaurant panel. Laravel/PHP/MySQL manage bookings and restaurant settings, while Livewire supports responsive interactions without introducing unnecessary front-end complexity.

Result
