Current state

The product architecture and MVP scope are in development around live lawyer availability, paid video consultations, language/specialism matching and mobile access.

Overview

SetsLegal is an in-house Sets Tech product aimed at shortening the path between needing legal guidance and reaching an available lawyer. The concept combines discovery, matching, payment and consultation into one cross-platform flow.

Problem

Legal help is often organised around scheduled appointments, manual receptionist calls and directory searches. Availability, language, specialism and pricing are rarely visible together, creating friction for people who need timely advice.

My contribution

• Lead product architecture and hands-on full-stack development.
• Design matching, lawyer-presence, consultation and payment workflows.
• Build the Next.js web experience, NestJS API and React Native mobile applications.
• Own WebRTC video integration, consultation history and file-sharing direction.

Technical approach

The planned architecture separates real-time consultation services from standard account and marketplace workflows. Next.js and React Native provide client interfaces, NestJS manages APIs/business logic, WebRTC handles video and Stripe supports paid consultation flows.

Result
