Outcome

Created a responsive digital portfolio for a classical dance performer, with media-rich storytelling and direct event- enquiry pathways.

Overview

Adity Dance showcases Bharatanatyam and Indian folk-dance work to UK and international audiences. The project focused on translating stage performance into a fast, visual web experience that could also support event enquiries.

Problem

The performer needed a professional digital home for biography, performances, media and booking enquiries without losing the cultural character of the work.

My contribution

• Owned the front-end architecture, visual design and implementation.
• Created the dark, performance-led design system and reusable Next.js components.
• Built dynamic media and event sections for photography, video and booking content.
• Integrated direct social/WhatsApp enquiry paths and completed responsive optimisation.

Technical approach

Used a reusable Next.js/React component structure so performance, gallery and event content could be presented consistently across devices. The interface uses a dark visual system and large-format media while maintaining clear navigation and booking calls to action.
